About Gourds
Decorating gourds is a tradition
that dates back centuries in Peru. The method of decoration
starts with the artist engraving the surface of the gourd with
a sharp tool.
He then uses a wood-burning device to highlight and color the
carved areas of the gourd.
The final result is a magnificent piece of artwork!
